Laura is a children’s content and brand specialist with over twenty years experience in the broadcast industry across a wide variety of genres and platforms.
Cutting her teeth as a Script Supervisor with credits including Eastenders, Holby City, BBC Proms and Top of the Pops then moving into Assistant Producer and Producer roles on CBBC and CBeebies. She followed this with a side step into the scheduling world developing content discovery skills at BBC Worldwide.
Her specialism in Childrens content took her into Brand Management for BBC Studios where she successfully oversaw BAFTA winning kids franchise brands Hey Duggee, Go Jetters and Sarah & Duck and their respective licensing programmes in toy and soft lines, brand marketing campaigns as well as delivering brand partnerships such as the “Designing Duggee” exhibition with The Design Museum in London.
She now brings all this experience to the Team Playa table where she manages projects across diverse matrices with multiple stakeholders.
